Biography

"You have to hear and see him on stage with his musicians, taking the audience with that very special grain of voice, his warmth, his power, just the right amount of sensuality, a nice swaying of the hips and, above all, the essential for any crooner worthy of the name: class. Great class."
Strasbourg Magazine

Inspiring! This is the word that comes to mind when looking at Pascal VECCA's superb career.

This French singer-songwriter
of Italian, German and Polish origins had the audacity to listen to his dreams, his instinct and his heart! He did not hesitate to throw away the communications executive costume of his former life, in which he felt cramped. Deep down, suddenly, everything became clear: he would give himself body and soul to music, to the stage and to the public.
A courageous and resounding decision which immediately placed him on the path to song.

Quickly, his new life brings him happy rewards ( Winner of the René Coll Rose d'Or Distinction , among others) and incredible appointments. We find him on the boards of Paris (Alhambra, Sentier des Halles in particular) and of the Province and in the first parts of Olivia Ruiz, Michel Delpech, Patrick Sébastien ( accompanied by the Grand Orchestre Coll!) .

An artist with eclectic influences (Daniel Balavoine, A-ha, Queen, Frank Sinatra, Depeche Mode, ...), he is a true musical jack-of-all-trades! He first focused on swing, with his first album of compositions Vu de haut (2009). His second album, Les Crooners à l'honneur (2014) - and the eponymous show - pays tribute to the great international voices of jazz.

On stage, we discover him in turn as a crooner, rocker, animal, sensitive, magnetic, full of humor!
A pure charisma, an authenticity, a humanity that slips into the warmth of his voice, powerful and deep, which exists in his entire person and which earns him the unfailing loyalty of his audience.

Let's not be put off by the diversity of his repertoire, because Pascal VECCA is driven by the same desire, the same powerful and generous driving force: to unite ! Indeed, what better way to bring people together than to sing about love, to pay tribute to the King in the famous Europa Park , to brilliantly interpret national anthems in stadiums, to illuminate souls with Christmas carols, to write the official anthem of the Racing Club de Strasbourg ? Just that!

An artist with a big heart, he regularly commits himself to helping people with disabilities . In particular, he got involved alongside ULIS students from two Alsatian colleges, in the creation of the song Ensemble ( for which he wrote the lyrics and melody) and a music video released in June 2022 , a true hymn to tolerance, praised in particular by Jean-Jacques Goldman , Emmanuel Macron and Tony Estanguet .

In 2019, he dedicated an album to Christmas carols and was one of the guests of honor at the launch of the Christmas Illuminations in Strasbourg , alongside Chimène Badi in particular, and enchanted the 20,000 spectators present at Place Kléber with his interpretation of Hallelujah . In 2022, he was the sponsor with the Stentors.
